First Steps Preschool at First United Methodist Church has an opening for a full-time Lead Teacher. A Lead Teacher plays a leading role in planning, teaching, and organizing age-appropriate classroom activities and is responsible for total classroom operation. Our Youth Ministry is seeking one summer time youth intern (approximately 30 hours per week) from mid-May – mid-August to focus on relationship building, special events, planning regular Connect Sunday night youth group and Sunday morning Donuts and Discussions. This internship will pay $15 an hour. Candidates should be interested in going into Youth Ministry as a career. They should have a love for teenagers, teaching and organizational skills, and pass background and reference checks.
