Tuesday: Read Luke 1:39-45. After receiving the news of her miraculous conception, Mary sets out to visit her relative, Elizabeth, who is also expecting a child. Elizabeth’s affirmation of Mary’s blessedness reinforces Mary’s faith and confirms the fulfillment of God’s promises. Mary’s faith in God’s word, despite the challenges and uncertainties ahead, is a testament to her unwavering trust in God’s faithfulness.
Wednesday: Read Luke 1:46-56. In response to Elizabeth’s words, Mary bursts into a beautiful song of praise, known as the Magnificat. This song reflects Mary’s deep understanding of God’s faithfulness to His people throughout history. It reveals her humility, gratitude, and trust in God’s provision and justice. Mary’s song serves as a reminder for us to magnify the Lord in our lives and to rejoice in his goodness.
