KIC Family Kick Off Luau
August 23, 2026
Children play an essential role in our church family and community. To support their spiritual development, we provide age-appropriate programs for children from six weeks through fifth grade. Our aim is to create an enjoyable learning experience centered on the Bible and the significance of serving God, their community, and others, all within a secure environment.
Sunday Morning – KIC Start (Kids in community starting the week off right)
A unique, engaging and uplifting Sunday morning experience for all children 6 weeks old through 5th grade during the 9:30 service. KIC Start was created to ignite faith and encourage personal growth in fun and meaningful ways. Childcare is available for 6 weeks old through Kindergarten during the 11:00am services.
Wednesday Evening – KIC Friends (Kids in community with friends, faith and fun). Join us from 6:00 – 7:30pm.
Join us mid-week to hang out with friends, unwind, and learn how God wants us to be in community! Children from six weeks old to 5th grade will explore the Bible in engaging, age-appropriate ways. All ages are required to register. Parents of 6 weeks old through VPK and parent/s must be on campus. We kindly ask that all parents RSVP to the weekly event reminder. Please note that children are welcome to attend for part of the programming if they cannot stay for the entire duration.
Monthly Sunday – KIC Family (Kids in community with family and friends)
Families with children of all ages are invited to join us once a month for special events, both on-site and off-site, aimed at fostering community in a relaxed atmosphere that encourages friendship and authentic connections. To see upcoming opportunities, check out the events section below.
Quarterly Sunday Events
Families will kick things off with a meal and then split up for some quality fellowship time. Twice a year, moms and dads will have their own separate activities to catch up and have fun, while at other times, parents will team up for collaborative activities. The children will divide into groups (Preschool and under/Elementary) to enjoy a time filled with activities and camaraderie.
This exclusive club motivates our 4th and 5th grade tweens to unite monthly to nurture friendships, grow in faith, and create lasting memories. Monthly activities take place both on and off campus on either Friday or Sunday evenings.
Please keep your child home if they are not feeling well, have been asked to quarantine by their school or daycare, or if awaiting test results for anyone in the household.
